unidentified plate with cast lettering.
Hello great site, and hoping someone can identify this set of plates, made with quality cast riveted letters on a aly pressed backplate. The front and rear (bigger) plates show some age but are of a high quality constructed type , NOT STAMPED. Each letter is made from polished aluminium and rived on (peened over) Perhaps I should have taken a photo or the back for more information. They must have looked super when new, but before I restore them I wanted to positively identify them first just in case they are historically significant.. Thank you.
